Spring Blue-ming

I love lace shorts for Spring and I've also had a weird obsession with blue recently, so basically these shorts are perfect for me. We kept the outfit fairly simple, pairing the shorts with only a plain white tee and white wedges, so we added a statement necklace to spice it up. I'd also rock this look with some white converse, considering I don't wear heals too often (they do wonders for your legs though). I had some fake flowers that went along with the blue theme, so Em and I decided to use them as a prop simply because we felt like it. Sometimes you gotta do you, you know? Hope everyone is having a great week! xoxo

Transitioning

Although it's definitely getting warmer, there are still those days when it's a little too chilly to wear shorts and a tank top; so here's to those days when you're feeling a little reminiscent of winter. The black and white theme along with the polka dots and even the braid are on trend for spring, but the sweater-maxi duo gives you some warmth for those windy days. So put your own spin on the cropped sweater + maxi look as we wave goodbye to the colder months. Hope ya'll are having a good week!!

The Adventures of Krista and Em!

Greetings from Philadelphia!! This week Em and I headed to the East Coast for some quality college touring. Since it's freezing, at least to us Californians, our wardrobes are made up of about 2 large jackets, and leggings, not very interesting. So instead of posting our usual outfits, were going to post something along the lines of a what you would see on a travel blog. Since we decided against bringing our cameras, we had to depend on our phones to snap pics, so forgive us if the quality of the pictures leaves more to be desired. Anyway, we started the trip in Washington DC, then moved on to Baltimore, and now we're in Philly! Tomorrow we're off to NYC, obviously the most exciting part of the trip.  Here are some pics from our trip so far!

Firefly, in DC... highly recommended.

There is always time for a selfie, always.

We went to see the ballet at the Kennedy Center! It was spectacular.
