Keep Your Cool

Hey ya'll! So lately Em and I have been obsessed with what we like to call "The Waist Tie." It may feel a little outdated, but let us try to win you over. First of all, it's practical: you'll have a long sleeve option if you get chilly. And second, it can spice up the simplest of outfits (like we've done with this one). Of course, there are a lot of ways to go wrong with this look, but styled the right way, people will loathe you for being able to pull it off. We suggest trying a patterned button up; whether it be plaid or polka dots, wearing a pattern with confidence is killer. Another tip would be to put the knot a little off centered because sometimes it can look kinda awkward. Hope you enjoy, and if you try this look out, make sure to Instagram it and use the hashtag #kristaandem!

Stripes by the Sea

It's late on my last day in Denmark, which I spent shopping and sightseeing in Copenhagen, but here are some pictures from earlier in my trip at the one of the many beaches surrounding Denmark. I got this dress at a store called Monki; they only have stores located in Europe and Asia unfortunately, but I thought the dress would make a perfect breezy beach cover-up, and of course I was drawn to the black and white stripes. I especially like the way the pockets' stripes are perpendicular to the rest of the dress...it keeps it interesting! I also fell in love with the low back and criss-crossed straps, as well as the maxi/midi length. All in all I really dig this dress for the summertime! xoxo

Aquamarine

Greetings from Denmark! Internet connection here is hard to come by since the place we're staying doesn't have any, but I've finally got around to lugging my computer to the pizza shop nearby where they've been so kind as to lend me their wifi password. Anyway... I bought these pants a little while back at Target and they're pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. The simple white t-shirt lets the print on the pants receive the attention it deserves, as do these nude chunky heels from Steve Madden. I accessorized with some gold pieces from Urban outfitters and some gold aviators from H&M. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer! xoxo
