And... we're back!! My best friend has finally returned and we've hit the ground running; our travels had us so inspired we could hardly choose an outfit! We finally settled on this one: it's super feminine and so much fun! The mix of patterns and textures is a little daring, but the black leather belt divides it nicely and creates a very flattering silhouette. Em's sky high velvet Steve Madden peep toe platforms are impossible to walk in but make your legs look killer, especially with an a-line skirt like this lace one from H&M. We paired the outfit with my new favorite hair and makeup duo: I flipped my hair under to create a faux bob and pumped it up with some teasing. The long pieces in the front give it a modern edge and the red lips just add to the flirty effect of this outfit. All in all, this is definitely a pulled together, chic look that I'll be sure to sport during the fall. Maybe I'll throw in some tights and booties for winter! The possibilities are endless...until next time, xoxo.

Floral Fringe
Hello all! Whilst Em is still basking in the sun on a tropical beach in Hawaii (can you tell I'm jealous?), I'm stuck at home redecorating my room and slaving away (not really) at my internship. This is yet another post from June that we did before we were tragically separated for the entire summer. I believe this is my fourth pair of Zara shorts but I just fell in love with the floral print. The fringe shirt from Forever 21 mixed with the braids gives the look, to me, a hippie/western feel that I adore. One thing I especially love about the shirt, besides the rockin fringe, is the knotted triangle; without the bando it's a little scandalous, but I still love it. Bright lips are my go-to nowadays so we threw them in there just for kicks and the braids simply felt right. Anyway, Em comes back on Thursday (!!!!!!!) and we have a ton of inspiration to dig in to!
xoxo,
Krista

Oh Paris!
This is WAY overdue but here are some pictures from the rest of my trip! I had a wonderfully amazing time and I'm so thankful for the experience.
I got sick when I came back and then got swamped with camp and more traveling, but Em will be back soon and we plan on finishing off the summer strong!

Color in the City of Love
As I walked around Paris yesterday I took a lot of pictures, and when I looked back through the pictures, I noticed a theme: color. The pictures were so pretty, I decided to post them. I thought the theme was ironic considering this season I've been loving color. Bright, bright colors. Summer is such a happy time; the weather is warm, and people are on vacation, so I like to reflect that in my wardrobe. Anyone who's known me for a while knows that I've always liked wearing bright colors (at times I went a little overboard), but I really believe it increases your mood. So, if you're one of those people who tends to gravitate towards neutrals and lots of black, try and step outside your comfort zone this summer, and infuse your wardrobe with your favorite colors; it might just be the cherry on top of a wonderful summer.

Back To My Roots
Greetings from Copenhagen! Even though this isn't the typical update I decided it would be fun to post it anyway. I was in Denmark the past week visiting family and we stopped in Copenhagen for about two days. We did some shopping and visited Tivoli Gardens; the weather was good, which was a nice change from the previous rainy days, but my feet are sore from walking so much (our hotel was "walking distance" from everything...). I love going to Denmark and seeing all my cousins in the countryside but also getting a taste of city life (they ride a lot of bikes!). Anyways, I'm going to Paris now and I'm super excited to do some outfits there! I've been studying Art History this past year so I'm ecstatic about going to the Louvre (I'll actually know what I'm looking at!). Well...see ya'll soon, enjoy!
This picture doesn't do it justice, but this is one of the bigger shopping streets in Copenhagen.
If you ever happen to go to CPH you must stop by Tivoli Gardens. It's one of the most beautiful places at night and the rides are fun too!
This ride gives me shivers it goes up so high, and you get a view of the whole city! However I'm not a big fan of heights, so it was really scary for me....
I picked this purse up at H&M. I absolutely adore it!
